Hesitantly, she enters the front door, finding herself feeling displaced and awkward for the first time in months. Meanwhile, Mei-Trix arrives at the house of Ed King, to find it derelict and abandoned. Realizing he got away, Danny opts to join the others at Thayles' speech. As he confronts him in an alleyway, the man yells at Danny "Tsfardia!" and jumps in the sewers joined by dozens of other frogs. Danny, tracking Thayles' killer, finds an odd string of empty clothes and frogs. Right before touching her, they descend onto the crowd in a swarm and begin attacking the attendees. Investigating, she begins to see a massive swarm of horseflies approaching. Mei-Trix teleports over to the personal address he provided.īack at Thayles' speech, Aurora begins to hear a buzzing sound overhead. At this attempt though, he immediately sends her all his personal information, revealing himself to be Edward "The Phisher" King. However, her attempts are easily shut down by an unknown assailant, whom she immediately begins to track. Mei-trix attempts to play spin doctor, changing his messsage in real-time into something a little more palpable. The talk becomes increasingly frantic as Thayles spots the man who killed him in the crowd, as he beams instructions into Danny as he follows. The government tells Thayles that he should stress the fact that the new "Potentials" should come forward so they don't feel alone when it comes to understanding their new powers, to which, Thayles "agrees".Īlthough the speech is initially going well, Thayles ends up pulling one over the government, but strongly urging peopleto stay quiet about their powers until they can find out more. The group decides to join Thayles on hand, should he need any help (Aurora on air, Danny in the crowd, and Mei-trix monitoring from afar). Within a few days, Bobbi calls Thayles with the news that the government wants him to give a speech regarding the emergence of Potentials, as he had agreed to be their spokesperson earlier. They then avail themselves of the club's amenities for the night. Finishing the confrontation with Chelsea, the group opts to give her the real documents, albeit with a critical component missing (for the time being).
